Prayer meeting and Bible study is held every Wednesday at 11 a.m. and every Friday at 7 a.m. at Point Level Disciples of Christ Church.


Prayer and Bible study is held every Thursday from 6-7 p.m. at the House of Prayer in Faison.


Wednesday, July 16-18, Vacation Bible School is held at St. Stephen Holiness Church in Turkey from 6-8 p.m. Refreshments will be served.


Wednesday, July 16-18, Vacation Bible School being held at Christ Missionary Baptist Church in Clinton, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Classes for all ages will be held. On Saturday, July 19, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., will be community day, and the entire community is invited to come and fellowship with food, fun and games.


Wednesday, July 16-17 at 7 p.m. nightly, youth revival will be held at The New Church of Christ in Faison. On Wednesday, Sister Taaliyah Carr accompanied by youth choir. Thursday, the guest speaker is Minister John Hoskins, youth choir and congregation of Deliverance of Praise Church of Worship in Fayetteville.


Wednesday, July 16, at 7:30 p.m. Bishop Larry Mosson, will preach at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church. Trinity United Freewill Holiness Church choir will render the music.


Wednesday, July 16-18, at 7:30 p.m. nightly, youth conference being held at Union Grove Freewill Baptist Church in Keener. The guest speaker is the Rev. Reginald Bradshaw of LaGrange. Wednesday-Union Grove youth choir; Thursday-Jones Tabernacle youth choir of Kinston; and Friday-Evangle Tabernacle of LaGrange. Refreshments will be served following the service. The host pastor is Bishop Garland Mayes.


Wednesday, July 16-18 at 7 p.m. nightly, youth revival being held at Snowhill M.B. Church in Roseboro. The theme is: Stepping Out By Faith. The guest speaker for the week is Elder Albert Almore of St. John Missionary Baptist Church in New Bern. In the service will be mimes, praise dancing and singing. Wednesday-Mt. Pleasant youth choir of Clinton; Thursday-Red Hill combine choir of Clinton; Friday- Evergreen combine choir of Salemburg.


On Saturday, July 19, at 10 a.m., True Vine Ministries praise conference of Fayetteville. The workshop will include: Leadership, Praise, Mimes, Dance and Flag. Lunch will be served with a donation of $3. At 5 p.m. a concert will be given to showcase what was learned.


On Saturday, July 19, the Friendly Trio and Church Association will give out food bags. The doors will be open 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Friendly Community Center in Clinton. All are welcome. FMI call Brother Charles Strickland at 910-590-2925.


Saturday, July 19, at 10 a.m. First Missionary Baptist Church in Roseboro is having their Woman Book Study. All women are invited.


Saturday, July 19, at 6 p.m., a Gospel Extravaganza will be held at Jackson Grove Bible Church of God in Midway. The musical guests are: Michael Boykin and the Mightly Voices, John Thorpe and Truth of Rougemont, The Ethridge Sisters of Raleigh, Blessed of Spivey Corner, and The Renewed Singers of Clinton.


Big Piney Grove Church in Clinton will celebrate the 27th pastoral anniversary of the Rev. James Mitchell. On Saturday, July 19, at 6 p.m. a banquet will be held. The guest speaker is the Rev. Victor L. Wilson, choir and congregation of Lisbon St. Missionary Baptist Church in Clinton. On Sunday, July 20, at 10 a.m. The guest speaker is the Rev. Charles Boone of Halls Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Burgaw. Dinner will be served following morning service.


Sunday, July 20, at 6 p.m., The Friendly Trio will host a Musical Gospel Train program at the Friendly Community Center in Clinton. The Theme is: Do All Things Decent and In Order. Inspirational Words: Minister Renita Butts of Clinton. Musical guests: Shoneka Murphy of Clinton, The Johnson Family of Stedman, The Coharie Treasures of Clinton, The Cornerstone of Clinton and more.


Sunday, July 20, at 11 a.m., St. Stephens Holiness Church is having their Annual Youth Day Anniversary. The guest speaker is the Rev. Eric Miller of Kansas. At 3:30 p.m. the guest speaker is Minister Nicole Hodges accompanied by First Baptist Church choir of Turkey.


Sunday, July 20, at 3 p.m., Appreciation Service will be held at Olivet Institutional Baptist Church in Clinton for Sister Josie Bowden. The guest speaker is the Rev. Alice Jean Boykin accompanied by Little Piney Grove adult choir of Clinton.


Sunday July 20, at 3 p.m., The Daughters of Zion candlelight march will be held at First Missionary Baptist Church in Roseboro. There will be a guest speaker.


Sunday, July 20, at 11 a.m.,. youth day service will be held at First Baptist Church in Turkey. Minister Nicole Hodges will bring forth the message and the youth choir will render the music. Vacation Bible School will be held Wednesday July 23-25 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Refreshment will be served.


Youth Revival is now in progress at Christ Missionary Baptist Church in Clinton at 7 p.m. nightly. On Wednesday, July, 23, the guest speaker is the Rev. Dayvon Smith and the Sampson Chapel young adult choir. On Thursday, July 24, the guest speaker is Minister Lemonde Parker and the Holly Grove gospel choir. On Friday, July 25, the guest speaker is Minister Rayshawn Moore and Christ Missionary youth choir.


Wednesday, July 23-25 from 6-8 p.m., Vacation Bible School will be held at Brown’s Chapel M.B. Church in Clinton. Refreshments will be served.


Wednesday, July 23-25 at 7:30 nightly, Youth Revival will be held at St. Stephens Holiness Church. The guest speaker is pastor Michael Maddox of Mt. Sinai Church in Wallace.


Saturday, July 26, Beaver Dam Missionary Baptist Church, Odom Road, Clinton, will observe Vacation Bible School. Activities for the day will be begin at 10 a.m. and continue until 3:30 p.m. All youth are invited. FMI contact Frances or Tim Butler at 910-525-4944.


Saturday, July 26, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m, Family and Friend’s Day will be held at the Friendly Community Center, Hwy. 421 N., Hanson Road, Clinton. All day events: The Word, volleyball, sack racing and horse shoes, etc. Different vendors will be set up with food and drinks.


Saturday, July 26, at 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. The Gavins and Faison Family reunion will be held at St. Stephens fellowship building in Turkey. All family and friends are welcome to fellowship with us.

The Rev. Alice Jean Boykin of Cedar Creek and church family would like to thank Pastor Ray Bolton and the Red Hill Church family and also the Rev. Harold Jr. Boykin and the Boykin brothers for the afternoon service.
