Prayer service and Bible study is held every Wednesday morning at 11 a.m. at Point Level Disciples of Christ Church in Clinton.


Tonight at 6 p.m. Sister Shay Rich will teach youth Bible study and Minister Nicole Murphy will teach the teen Bible study class at Brown’s Chapel M.B. Church. All children are welcome.


Tonight at 7:30 p.m. Brown’s Chapel mass choir will render the music at St. Stephens Church in Turkey. Dr. Hattie Lofton, is the guest speaker for their three night revival, and different choirs will render the music on Thursday and Friday.


Prayer service is held every Thursday night from 6-7 p.m. at the House of Prayer in Faison.


Friday, May 2, at 11 a.m. till 2 p.m. the Hargrove High School Alumni Association is having a scholarship plate sale at the Faison Community Center on 226 Juniper Road in Faison. On the menu will be grilled chicken, barbecue, green beans and potatoes, slaw, soda, water and dessert. For more information, call 910-533-3397.


Saturday, May 3, at 9 a.m. Women’s Fellowship will be observed at Union Freewill Baptist Church in Keener. The leaders are Mother Eula Herring and Elder Sandra James. We are asking all women to attend this great fellowship service.


Saturday, May 3, at 5p.m. Women of the Bible service will be held at St. Mary Holiness Church in Kenansville. Minister Nicole Murphy of Brown’s Chapel M.B. Church in Clinton will be the guest speaker.


Saturday, May 3, at 7 p.m. Conference will be held at Union Star Freewill Baptist Church in Clinton. All members are asked to be present.


Sunday, May 4, at 11 a.m. Holy Communion and regular service, will be held at Union Grove Freewill Baptist Church. The pastor, Bishop Garland Mayes, will bring forth the message and the male chorus will render the music.


Sunday, May 4, at 11a.m. regular service will be held at Red Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Clinton. The pastor, the Rev. Ray Bolton, will bring forth the message


and the adult choir will render the music. At 3 p.m. there will be a 100 women in Red and White service. The guest speaker will be the Rev. Margaret Kemp of First Baptist Church in Roseboro.


Sunday, May 4, at 11:15 a.m. regular service will be held at Wilson Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Turkey. The pastor, the Rev. Wendell Newton, will bring forth the morning message and the young adult choir will render the music. At 3 p.m. we will have our Annual Missionary Service.


Our guest is the Rev. Mary King of Greater Six Run M. B Church in Turkey. She will bring forth the anniversary message and the Mt. Zion choir of Warsaw will render the music.


Sunday, May 4, at 11 a.m. regular service will be held at First Missionary Baptist Church in Turkey. The Rev. Diane Newkirk of Greater Six Run Missionary Baptist Church in Turkey will bring forth the message and the male chorus will render the music. At 3 p.m. Sister Nicole Hodges will preach her initial sermon, and the First Baptist mass choir will render the music.


Sunday, May 4, at 11:30 a.m. regular service will be held at Greater Mt. Calvary Holiness Church in Clinton. The pastor, the Rev. Ruby T. Boykin, will bring forth the message and the combine choir will render the music. At 3 p.m. there will be a surprise Gospel Celebration. The host pastor is the Rev. Ruby T. Boykin. The musical guests are: Greater Mt. Calvary choir of Clinton, Sister Patricia Weathers of Stedman, Mrs. Retha Hobbs of Clinton, Evangelist Tracy McKinnon and New Destiny of Fayetteville, St. Peter’s United Holy Church choir of Magnolia. The emcee is Bishop Terrance Jenkins of Interstate Ministries.


Sunday, May 4, at 11 a.m. Mother’s Day will be observed at Running Branch Disciples of Christ Church in Clinton. The guest minister Donya Edward, will bring forth the message and the women’s choir will render the music. Following the morning service all women will go out to eat dinner.

Sunday, May 4, at 11 a.m. Women/Mother’s Day, will be observed at St. Stephens Holiness Church in Turkey. The guest speaker will be Evangelist Lillie Stokes of Clinton. The combine choir will render the music. Dinner will be served by the men, following the morning service.
