The Hobbton Wildcats softball team picked up their second win on a cold, windy Friday afternoon. The final was 16-1 in 3 innings.


Wildcat coach Morgan Farroll said, “We started out slow on offense tonight, but we got into our groove in the 2nd inning scoring 8 runs, and then scoring 8 runs again in the 3rd to end the game with a walk off single by Makenzie Williams.”


Brittany Testerman started the game pitching facing 10 batters with 3 strike outs. MacKenzie Williams came in the top of the 3rd to finish the game with 1 strike out.


Hannah Warren had 1 base on balls, 1 hit by pitch and 2 runs. Maddy Roesch had 3 base on balls, 1 hit by pitch, 1 stolen base, and 3 runs. MacKenzie Williams was 1-2, with 2 base on balls, 2 runs and 1 RBI. Brittay Testerman was 1-3 with 1 RBI. Nina Devone was 1-3, 1 triple, 3 RBI’s and 1 run. Megan Parker had 1 base on balls, 2 stolen bases and 2 runs. Carla Sutton was 1-2, 1 base on balls, 1 RBI and 2 runs. Camryn Carr had 1 base on balls, 1 hit by pitch and 2 runs. Anna Rose had 3 base on balls, 1 stolen base and 2 runs.


The Wildcats are now 2-0 on the season and play at Clinton Monday.
