Battling a stiff wind, the Hobbton soccer team got an impressive win against the Union Spartans in Wednesday’s soccer match. The final was 5-1, Hobbton.

Lexie Mincy scored 4 for the Wildcats. She is a freshman and the team’s leading scorer. Pamela Molina scored the other Wildcat goal.

Coach Ellie Linsell said, “Keeper Rebecca Hunter made some outstanding saves. Freshman Ashley Hinterleiter played every second of the game with incredible intensity. We had great communication and team spirit against a very competitive Union team. We are looking forward to playing at Rosewood Friday.”
