Emily Jones was crowned Miss Crusader during the varsity boys basketball game on Monday, Jan. 27, against Fayetteville Academy. Jones is a senior at Harrells Christian Academy and has attended HCA since kindergarten. She is the daughter of Larson and Wendy Jones of Harrells. The Miss Crusader court is comprised of all girls in the senior class and is presented each year during halftime of a varsity boys’ home basketball game. In the days prior to the game, all HCA students in grades nine through twelve vote for Miss Crusader. Miss Crusader represents the characteristics of school mascot, the Crusader. She is a symbol of the values for which Harrells Christian Academy stands. She is a spirited campaigner and loyal supporter of the green and gold. She is proud to call herself an HCA Crusader.
