On April 17, the Roseboro-Salemburg Middle School Chorus held its annual Talent Show. This year the Talent Show was titled, “RSMS Talent is Spiraling Out of Control.”


Radio personality and former RS teacher Randy Wood was the Master of Ceremonies.


RSMS chorus director Jennifer Matthews said she was very pleased with the excellent talent that was showcased this year at the show. All of the exceptional talent from the contestants made for a very close competition, she said.


First place went to seventh-grader Jana Hunter, who performed a clogging routine to “Walk This Way.” Second place went to seventh-grader Lorin Hawks, who sang the song”Bubbly.” Third place went to eighth-graders, Khamia Melvin and Lisset Ortiz, who sang a duet titled, “Ava Maria.”


Those who participated in the Talent Show were: Isabella Dolin, Rachel Comer, Khamia Melvin, Lisset Ortiz, Jana Hunter, Sunnie Davis, Petyon Crumpler Hannah Gordon, Andrea Martinz, Angel Williams, Mackenzie Grady, Lorin Hawks, Brandon McKinnon, Randie Autry, Kendallyn Faircloth, Ally Grace Royal, Skylin Peterson, Chloe Hobbs, Johnnah Hobbs, Allen Melvin, Evelyn Hairr, and Guillermo Bravo.
