Farm Bureau talks efforts, thanks board

During a recent meeting, she spoke of the committee’s outreach in local nursing homes, aging facilities, schools and food banks. She and others presented the board with a Farm Bureau bag of goodies and thanked them for their service.

Tate Pope, president of the Sampson County Farm Bureau Federation, thanked the Board of Commissioners for their service to the community. Pope said the group gives to many local causes and entities, including FFA, 4-H, the Sampson County History Museum and the Cooperative Extension Service, among others. Commissioners lauded Farm Bureau representatives for their service.
