Butler Avenue Elementary School recently held its first annual science fair competition. All participants did an outstanding job, staff said. This year the competition was held at the school level, and next year staff said they hope to have an opportunity to compete at the regional level. Pictured above are winners in second grade. They are: 1st Place-James Darden and Kamryn Worley; 2nd Place-Peyton Smith; 3rd Place-Bella Boney; and Honorable Mention-Zoie Avery. Not pictured is Bella Boney

Those taking home ribbons from third grade are: 1st Place-Nia Lance; 2nd Place-Ally Sutter; 2nd Place-Kevin Hall; 3rd Place-Mathew Hill; 3rd Place-Joseph McQuade; and Honorable Mention-Kennedy and Jackson Carter. Not pictured is Nia Lance.
