Leitha Lee, with the North Carolina Cooperative Extension Servcie, Sampson County, has received two awards — the Extension Teamwork Award and the Community Partnership Award — from the North Carolina Association of Extension Program Assistants, Associates, and Technicians.


She was recognized at the NCAEPAT state conference, held in Concord.


Lee is an Expanded Food Nutrition Education Program coordinator with Sampson County’s Cooperative Extension office.


The Extension teamwork award recognizes someone who has partnered with other Extension professionals such as 4-H, Family Consumer & Sciences, and Agricultural.


The Community Partnership Award recognizes someone who has partnered with others within the community.


Lee partnered with agents at Cooperative Extension, Sampson Community College, and Brook Brothers Company to offer nutritional educational programs to the community.
