The Clinton Police Club Inc. is sponsoring a Holiday Teen Blast fundraising Friday, Dec. 20, from 7 p.m. until midnight.
This event is open to all teens in the Sampson County area. This event will be held at the Sampson County Agri-Exposition Center.
DJ Gee-Que will be providing music, and the club will offer light refreshments.
Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door.
The Clinton police officers will be on site for security.
Local teens are encouraged to come out for an evening of music, dancing, and fun while kicking off the Christmas Holiday at safe local event. All proceeds will go directly to fixing the Community Center that has been out of use for several years because of much needed repairs, event organizers said.
The Clinton Police Club has sponsored many events in the community in the past, including:

• The Law Dog
v• Gospel Sing
• Halloween on the Square
The Clinton Police Club is a non-profit organization with the intent of improving law enforcement and community relationships, supporting and improving the quality of life for all citizens which, in turn,enhances the security and safety of all the city of Clinton citizens.
Organizers said the club attempts to support the community it serves through education, information and community involvement. The City of Clinton does not supply any funding or items to the Clinton Police Club. The Clinton Police Club must turn to the public to acquire any funding or donations.
Any donations help the club to continue to offer different services to a diverse community.
