The Rosewood Eagles took down the Leopards in softball with a 15-1 final score at Lakewood on Friday. Common errors and crucial mistakes were the Leopards’ downfall.

Lakewood’s head coach, Dave Yarasheski, said, “Tonight we had way too many errors. You cannot be competitive at this level, and in this conference, by making that many errors.”

“We had some good points, too,” Coach Yarasheski added. “We were able to put the bat on the ball. We had some hits and opportunities to score, but we just didn’t produce.”

For Lakewood, Amanda Bowden pitched 2 innings; Sabra Knowles pitched 2 innings; and Madison Tart finished out the game on the mound.

The Leopards will be hosting James Kenan on Tuesday
