The Hobbton Wildcats played their make-up game with Spring Creek Monday night. They came away with a 2-0 win.

Coach Ellie Linsell said, “We had a fantastic performance by the girls tonight! A nervous and frustrating 1st half finishing at 0-0, with freshman Ashley Hinterleiter hitting the cross bar and side post from a distance. Hobbton maintained their composure and stayed true to their aggressive game style in the 2nd half. Senior and captain Pamela Molina scored a beautiful first goal from the left boot. Followed shortly by Sophomore Rosa Flores with a clean second goal, taking the Wildcats to 2-0. The highlight of the night was Junior Frances Zeledon scoring from a left side corner kick.

Hobbton now advances to a 3-2 overall record this season, taking on Neuse Charter at home tomorrow at 6:30pm.”
