The ministry received $2,500 from the Walmart Stedman store (now closed), $2,500 from the Walmart Clinton store and $5,000 from Four County Electric who’s corporate office is in Burgaw. Pictured are Pastor Thom Miles, Founder and Director of Enlighten The World Ministries Community Assistance Program receiving a check from Walmart Clinton store Co-manager Tanya Walter. These grants assists the ministry in purchasing food, personal hygiene items, and disaster assistance items used to serve Sampson County residents. Enlighten The World Ministries is serving 1,200 Sampson County residents with food and clothing every month. These grants are a true blessing as it takes a lot to keep such an organization running.
