AME Zion Church
The church will observe Oct. 18 as the pastor’s appreciation day during the 11 a.m. service. Guests for the morning worship will be Rev. Charles Whitted and the Trinity AME Zion Church of Harrells.
The annual homecoming will be observed on Oct. 25 at 11 a.m. The Rev Eric Grant of Fayetteville will be the guest messenger. The BMBC combined choir will render the music. Dinner will be served.
The church on Odom Road will observe their 132nd anniversary/homecoming services on Oct. 18 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Jeremy Jones of Knightdale, guest speaker, and the mass choir rendering the music. Big Piney Grove
The church will be observing the 144th homecoming on Sunday at 10 a.m. There will be a fellowship dinner served immediately following the service at 3245 Big Piney Grove Road.
Revival services will be held Oct 18-21 with special music each night. Speakes will include Shane Kennedy, Sunday at 6 p.m. and Monday – Tuesday night at 7 p.m., and Josh Gideon, Wednesday at 7 p.m. The church is located on 709 Memorial Drive, Warsaw.
The annual harvest day will begin with a 5K Fun Run/Walk Oct. 17 at 8 a.m. Pay fee at registration (7 – 7:50 a.m.) Proceeds will benefit Relay for Life and Operation Christmas Child. Free lunch will be available. The church family will host Harvest Day and Ride for a Cure motorcycle ride on Oct. 17. Pay fee at registration that begins at 9:30 a.m. Departure time for the ride is 11 a.m. Proceeds for the ride will benefit Relay for Life. There will also be free games and food. Donations for our Operation Christmas Child Mission Project accepted.

The women’s annual fall bazaar and ham breakfast will be held Oct. 17 from 5:30-10 a.m. Eat in or carry out at 1901 Sunset Ave., Clinton.

The church, 9659 Faison Hwy., Faison, will be having prophetic service Oct. 16 at 7:30 p.m. The guest speaker will be Prophet Michael Norris of First Love Ministry in Raleigh along with his choir and congergation.

United Holy Church
The New Mount Zion will be hosting an Gospel Explosion on Oct. 17 at 4 p.m. Pastor Elder Lorenzo and First Lady Cheryl Simmons and the entire church family would like to announce the grand opening date of the New Mt. Zion UHC of Warsaw, 250 Lanefield Road, will begin Oct. 31 at 3 p.m. with Bishop Ralph Love bringing the message. The celebration will continue Nov. 1-8.
