The Rev. Jim Gurganus will be the guest speaker Nov. 1 at the 11 a.m. service. He was pastor for several years in the 1980s. Calvary is located at 6570 High House Road, just west of Piney Green and Highway 242.

A fall festival will be held Friday, Oct. 30, from 5:30-9:30 p.m. Mr. Wolfe, NC State’s mascot, will be present at the festival.
The church will be celebrating 101 years of ministry at homecoming service on Nov. 1 at 10:30 a.m. The Dove Brothers will be singing during the service. Wesley Smith, tenor with the Dove Brothers, will be sharing about his family ties with Mintz Baptist.

New Mt. Zion
United Holy Church
District Elder Lorenzo and First Lady Cheryl Simmons and the entire church family would like to announce the grand opening date of the New Mt. Zion UHC of Warsaw, 250 Lanefield Road, will begin Oct. 31 at 3 p.m. with Bishop Ralph Love bringing the message. The celebration will continue Nov. 1-8 with Sunday morning service at 11 a.m. and nightly services at 7 p.m.
