Dark Horse Raheem Skinner came away with 4 touchdowns and a 50 yard kick-off return. Skinner had 150 yards in total.
Quarterback Tyion Wright also scored a touchdown.
“I was very pleased with how the game was going,” stated head coach Michael Bell.
Jaquan McClean ran with a punt return to continue the game. Kevin Scott and RayQuan Faison also had their time to shine on the field. Kevin Scott scored 2 touchdowns for the Clinton Dark Horses while RayQuan Faison had multiple two point conversions and 100 yards rushing. Nick Blount would also help the team out with 1 extra point.
“I was pleased with this game especially since it was our first one. It surprised me how well they did on the field since their practice the day before didn’t go so well. Overall it was a very good start to the season” Coach Bell said.
Clinton JV will host Laney High School on Thursday September 5.
