The Crusaders hosted the Lady Dark Horses and both varsity and junior varsity home teams came away victorious.


Harrells varsity wiped Clinton out in 3 sets, 25-13; 25-19; 25-16.


HCA stats showed Natalie Hardin with 6 kills; Anna Huff with 13 kills; and Haylee Parks with 24 assists.


In junior varsity action, the Crusaders won 2 out of 3 games with scores of 22-25; 25-28; and 25-15.


Crusader stats showed Sophie Campbell with 16/16 in serves; 2 kills; 10 assists; 5 digs; Harley Crumpler: 9 assists; 3 kills; 4 digs; Abigail Blanchard: 14/14 in serves; 4 aces; 9 kills; 8 digs; Madison Tart: 3 kills; 6 digs; Caitlin Miller: 6 kills; 1 block; 1 dig; Marianne Moore: 11/11 in serves; 3 kills; 1 block; 2 digs.


The JV overall record moves to 5-3.


The Crusaders will host Village Christian next Tuesday, Sept. 17 to begin conference play.


The Lady Dark Horses will face West Bladen on Thursday, Sept. 12.
