Clinton traveled to Jacksonville on Wednesday night for a non-conference battle with Southwest Onslow. The Lady Horses lost a great game, by a goal, 1-0.

LadyDark Horse coach Jeff Smith was disappointed with a loss but said “this game was a match-up of two good soccer teams and the type of game that will help us in the playoffs.” The Lady Dark Horses controlled the ball for much of the game but were unable to put a score on the board. Smith added that goal keeper Tori Tyndall played a great game in the goal.

Clinton will make a quick turnaround, returning to the field Thursday night for a conference match with the Raiders at Midway.
