This week’s Four County Conference golf match was played at Greensbridge Country Club in windy conditions. Clinton won the match with a team score of 328. Reid Darden of Clinton was medalist with an impressive 3-over-par 75 in the tough winds. Not far behind him was Union golfer Evan Johnson, who fired a 77.


Other Clinton scores include Hayden Lanier with an 82, Eric Bradshaw with an 84, Freddy Bath with an 87, Peyton Holder with a 105, and Kelby Moore with a 109.


Union finished third in the match behind Clinton and West Bladen. Union’s team scored was 367. Other than Johnson, a sick Tyler Ross shot 87, Brady Roberts shot 81, Spencer Usher shot 122, and Andrew March shot 129.


Midway finished 5th with a 386 total. Zach Dixon shot 97, Clay Honeycutt shot 94, Trent Mallard shot 97, Ben Edwards shot 98, Aaron Rhodes shot 104, and Logan Allen shot 108.


There are two matches at Coharie next week for the Four County teams.
