The Lady Leopards took to the floor again Tuesday evening against conference rival Neuse Charter. The Leopards jumped out to a lead early and maintained it through out the 1st set by a score of 25-8.

The 2nd set was a much better set for Neuse Charter but the Lady Leopards still took the set 25-22.

The 3rd and final set was again all Leopards, most off the night several of the starters were on the bench due to regulations as to how many games some players can play if they are doing both j.v. and varsity, but they were called upon for the 3rd set and brought home the win by a score of 25-12.

Stats were not available for tonight’s game, but the whole team had a chance to get into the action according to Coach Shelia Davidson. “Everyone got to play and they did a good job. They knew their assignment and they played good.”

Coach Samantha Dunn and Coach Angel Cortes said the team, “tried really hard, and they were all learning and improving for their game.”

The Leopards next game will be a conference game at James Kenan on September 4th.

The Leopards are now 5-0 overall and 3-0 in conference play.
