A 28-year-old Sampson County man is facing felony charges related to a break-in at the home of his ex-girlfriend earlier in the week.Travis Taylor, of 3117 Brewer Road, Faison, was charged late Wednesday afternoon with burglary (forcible entry), larceny after breaking and entering and possession of stolen property.He was taken into custody one day after the victim reported the incident to Sampson Sheriff’s authorities.Contacted Friday, Lt. Marcus Smith said the victim told officers she witnessed her ex-boyfriend forcibly enter her residence while she was inside.She was able to flee to safety while the suspect was inside the home.


Lakewood grabs quality road win
