The National FFA Foundation appointed Eric Spell, president of AgCareers.com, to its 2013 Sponsors’ Board.

Sponsors’ Board members were introduced at the National FFA Convention and Expo held October 24-27, 2012 in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Sponsors’ board membership is selected by the FFA Foundation’s executive council with a geographical and industry mix of top corporate executives. Board members serve one year terms beginning in October of each year. They may extend their term for up to three years. During their year of service, board members seek to strengthen existing relationships and develop new partnerships between sponsors and FFA. The FFA organization works throughout the nation to develop character and leadership skills in young people and prepare them for successful careers.

“AgCareers.com is dedicated to connecting top talent and employers in the agricultural industry,” shared Spell. “Creating a strong pipeline of talent is essential, and I’m excited to be part of this process with the Sponsors’ Board,” added Spell.

Spell has more than 20 years of experience in agribusiness leadership and strategic recruitment. Growing up on a row crop farm in eastern North Carolina, his passion for agriculture flourished and has continued to grow throughout his professional ventures.
