The parents of Kaylyn Cromartie of Harrells and Willie Davis III of Stedman are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their children.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Ms. Anita Merritt and Mr. Perry Cromartie. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Pinkey Cromartie and the late Mr. Jessie Cromartie of Harrells. She is also the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Garmon Lee Merritt of Magnolia. She is a 2007 graduate of Union High School and a 2011 graduate of Fayetteville State University.
The groom-elect is the son of Mrs. Cynthia Davis and the late Sgt. 1st Class Willie Davis Jr. He is the grandson of Mr. Willie David Owens of Roseboro and the late Mrs. Lorenia Owens and Mr. and Mrs. Willie Davis of Aliceville, Ala. He is a 2007 graduate of Cape Fear High School. When he graduates from Fayetteville State University in May, he will be commissioned as a second lieutenant in the Army.
A noon wedding ceremony is planned for May 12, 2012 at Ft. Bragg.
