COATS — Mrs. Dina Charlene Porter Fann, 41, of 54 Paul Clayton Circle, died on Sunday, Sept. 16, 2012 at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m., on Thursday, Sept. 20, at Coats Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Jesse Mooney officiating. Burial will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Salemburg.

Mrs. Fann was born on Oct. 15, 1970 in Cumberland County to Bobby Ray and Betty Jewel Tew Porter. She is preceded in death by her father. She was a sixth grade school teacher with Coats-Erwin Middle School for 20 years.

She is survived by her husband, Eric Fann of the home; one son, Brynn Porter Fann a freshman at N.C. State University; her mother, Betty Jewel Porter of Roseboro; two sisters, Malia Hollingsworth and husband, Billy of Salemburg and Kaye Heinz and husband, Dan of Salemburg; her father and mother-in-law, Larry and Judy Fann of Roseboro; her sister-in-law, Dayna Lyn Bruha and husband, Johnny of Willow Spring; four nieces, Gina Autry and husband, Max, Allyson Heinz, Anna Heinz and Grace Bruha; one nephew, Daniel Ivan Heinz; and one great-nephew, Hollin Blake Autry.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro and other times at her home or the home of her mother, 1093 Reeda Branch Road, Roseboro.
