When a Sampson County woman, wanted for an October misdemeanor larceny charge, was arrested late Friday evening on that warrant, investigators added another charge when they discovered drug paraphernalia in her possession.
Misty Cole Mishoe, 24, of 1685 Indian Town Road, was charged with misdemeanor larceny and possession of drug paraphernalia.
According to reports only released Tuesday, Mishoe was arrested Friday around 10 p.m. at a residence located in the 300 block of Park Avenue in Clinton. At the time of her arrest, she was alleged to have a metal spoon and needles in her possession. The items, reports allege, contained remnants of drugs.
Just 14 days ago, Mishoe was charged with second degree trespassing; in July, she was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
According to the North Carolina Department of Corrections, Mishoe has a history of convictions dating back to 2005. Those convictions include: possession of drug paraphernalia (September 2005); larceny, assault with a deadly weapon, two counts simple affray, and communicating threats (all February 2006); driving with license revoked (August 2006); resisting an officer (November 2006); and possession of a Schedule II controlled substance (December 2006).
On her latest charges, Mishoe was given a $500 bond and a trial date of Nov. 26.
