Justice Academy representatives recognized
On Dec. 11, director Mark Strickland and instructor/Coordinator Timothy Fuss, representatives from the North Carolina Justice Academy, traveled to northern Virginia to meet with the director of the Terrorist Screening Center and staff to be recognized for their efforts in incorporating information regarding the Terrorist Screening Center into North Carolina's Law Enforcement, Detention and Telecommunicator programs. This initiative will serve as a model for training academies across the country furthering promoting what collaborations between federal, state and local agencies can accomplish working together.
