Local AT&T Alumni Chapter receives charter
Saturday, Dec. 15 marked the date when the Sampson County Alumni Chapter of North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University received its official charter. The local chapter has been in existence for two years with a main goal of raising scholarship funds for students planning to attend NC A&T. The organization’s membership consists of A&T alumni, as well as parents of Aggies. Saturday’s event was attended by chapter members, current A&T students and even one potential Aggie. A fund-raising raffle ended the program with winners receiving gift cards valued from $100 to $25.
