The Lakewood High School junior varsity football squad fell 20-6 to the visiting James Kenan Tigers in Thursday night football action.
“I thought the kids came out ready to play tonight,” said Lakewood coach James Lewis. “It was a physical game, but I thought our guys played tough.”
The Leopards will play again next week at Hobbton. Game time is 6:30 p.m.
