Descendents of Ben, Sudie and Nora Weeks gathered at Epworth United Methodist Church in Clinton for lunch on Saturday, Nov. 17. A delicious meal, consisting of meats, vegetables, congealed salads, casseroles, biscuits, rolls, hushpuppies and many scrumptious desserts, was served to those attending. Much laughter and a few tears followed the good meal.

In attendance from the William Arthur Weeks family were Anthony and Phyllis Weeks of Dunn, Denise Weeks Nothdurft from Charlotte and her children, Malcolm and Courtney. In attendance from the Bennie Elmond Weeks family were Sandy Weeks from Baltimore, Md., Faye Weeks Pearson and her children and grandchildren, Nancy Dillman and family, Mark and Connie Pearson and family, Mary Jane and Greg Osborne and family and Jason and Mikki Pearson and family from Clinton.

Also the Norman Weeks family, Bennie Weeks family, John Paul Weeks family from Asheboro, Carol and Elizabeth Weeks from Charlotte.

From the Samp Weeks family were Edith Weeks, Ray and Sharon Weeks, Sue Weeks Butler, Cynthia Butler House and Makayla House, Tammy Butler Peterson and Luke Peterson, Wanda Tanner, Blake Owens and friend, Haley Tyndall and Austin Wheeler.

From the Lucile Weeks Honeycutt family attending were Tommy, Marsha and Melissa Honeycutt, Debbie and Sean Bennett and daughter Amber all from Garner.

From the Kathleen Weeks Maynard family attending were Mary Ann Lassiter, Keith Lassiter, Amanda Williford Pope and daughter Ashley from Angier and Dunn.

From the Lloyd Weeks family attending were Kathryn Weeks, Janet Weeks Wrench and David Wrench from Dunn, Nick and Stephanie Wilson from Autryville, Heather and Wilson Mayo from Spivey’s Corner.
