Union Middle places 2nd in Battle of Books
ampson County Schools recently held its Battle of the Books competition for their middle schools at Midway High School recently. Union Middle School’s team placed second. Team members are: Cameron Baker, Taylor Barbrey, Megan Gardner, Shyderia Harris, Catherine Lockamy, Stephanie Malahias, Davion Vann, Jamaar Wallace, Tyson Weeks, Isaiah Wilson and their coach Debora Malahias. Students had to read 27 books and be able to answer questions from these books.
