Three games ago the Lady Spartan soccer team changed their formation, and their way of thinking, and they haven’t lost a game since then. The Hobbton Wildcat soccer team took on the Trask Titians on their home field and came away with a 3-1 conference win Tuesday afternoon. Clinton varsity baseball moved to 5-4 in the conference after Tuesday’s win against East Duplin, ending the night with a score of 14-3 by the 10 run rule. In a game that began on Friday, the Midway Raiders ended it with a run in the bottom of the 7th on Monday. Both Midway teams take home gold in county meet
The Midway Raiders hosted the last track meet of the regular season on Thursday. Midway’s boys and girls teams both captured victories. In the boys’ meet, the Raiders posted 80 points. Union was the runner-up with 60 points. Pender and James Kenan scored 42 and 24 respectively. First place runners for Midway included Caleb Sanders, winning the 1600 meter run with a time of 5:01.
