The Clinton JV soccer team opened the season with a 5-0 shutout win over North Johnston on Wednesday night. Clinton was lead by Sammy Sutter with three goals, Camden Thompson and Jared Stephenson each added a goal to cap off the Dark Horse scoring.

After the game head coach Mitchell Brewington said, “I was very pleased with the way we played tonight. We’ve got a huge team with a lot of talent, they work hard and are a pleasure to coach. For a first game we moved the ball extremely well, and did a great job playing for each other, really sharing the ball well.”

Clinton’s Camden Thompson drives the ball up the sideline during second half action.
