Crusaders whip Clinton in straight sets

The Lady Crusaders made it two wins in a row by manhandling Clinton in straight sets, 3-0. The first set was close with Harrells winning by a narrow margin 26-24. However, the final two sets were decisive 11-point and 13-point victories, 25-14 and 25-12.

Sydney Norris had a phenomenal night at the net with 10 kills, while Brenna King contributed eight and Sierra Votaw added seven. Votaw and King also had three blocks apiece. Madison Tart would produce 15 digs while King and Norris provided eight digs each. Harley Crumpler had 26 assists and served up four aces.

The Crusaders’ record is now 7-6 overall and 2-2 in conference play. They will travel to Fayetteville Academy on Thursday at 5:15 p.m.
