Local motorsports venue partners with Independent

GALOT Motorsports Parks and The Sampson Independent have partnered up to provide fans with a weekly podcast to help keep racing fans and supporters up to date with what is going on at the motorsports venue.

The first podcast will be available on Wednesday, March 1, (today) and will highlight this weekend’s Mad Mule Pro Mod Shootout. The weekend kicks off on Thursday night for Test-n-Tune with gates opening at 5 p.m. and testing running from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Admission is $10 and the testing fee is $20.

The activities continue on Friday with Pro Mod and Junior testing. Testing will last from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The testing fee will be $200 for Pro Mod testing and $50 for Junior testing.

The weekend concludes on Saturday with the highlight of the weekend, the Mad Mule Pro Mod Shootout. Gates open at 8 a.m. and will feature three rounds of Pro Mod Qualifying and a 16 Car Qualified Pro Mod Field. General admission is $20 and VIP tickets are $100.

The new podcast will air every Wednesday and is geared toward keeping fans caught up on the goings-on at the track.

Media Relations Coordinator Charles Myers expressed an upbeat attitude about the upcoming podcast.

“We’re looking forward to being able to put this together and hope to make a great connection with our fans and look forward to hearing feedback from the community,” he asserted.

Myers went on to highlight that fans can expect to hear more regarding the new reality TV show “Burning Rubber,” which features GALOT, as well as racing insight, race details and driver and winner interviews.
