Dixie Youth All-Star teams


The 2015 Dixie Youth Coach-Pitch Baseball All-Star Team – Coaches are Barry Moore, Josh Ward, Anthony Davis and Chuck Carter. Players are Hudson Griffin, Roady Carter, Jaxson Smith, Camden Davis, Peyton Moore, Canaan Bell, Wyatt Barbour, Zachary Melvin, Jakarrion Kenan, Acere Brinson, Joesen Pope, and Aaron Smith. The team played in the District 7 tournament starting the weekend of June 19 in Burgaw. The team finished as tournament runner-up with a 2-2 record. Also received Sportsmanship Award for displaying good sportsmanship throughout the tournament.


The 2015 Dixie Youth Minor League Baseball All-Star Team – Coaches are Austin Allison, Brad Spell and Justin Carter. Players are Finn Howard, Nelson Vann, Matthew Hill, Dylan Coats, Jackson Carter, Dawson Smith, Logan Carter, Will Bass, Walker Spell, Landen Pearson, Casen Herring, and Gavin Turlington. The team played in the District 7 tournament starting the weekend of June 26 in Rose Hill. The team finished the tournament with a 1-2 record.

Players are Mekhi Butler, Gabriel Moore, Kolby Kearley, Austin Smith, ZaShon Smith, Lee Tyner, Lane Wells, Adam Daw, KeOnsha Frink, Albert Thornton, Andrew Byrd, and Trey Gainey. The team played in the District 7 tournament starting the weekend of July 3rd in Faison. The team finished the tournament with a 0-2 record.
