Hobbton’s soccer team is on a roll, and continued that after taking out Spring Creek Wednesday in a close, hard fought Senior Night match. The final was 5-4, Hobbton.

The Wildcats retired Abraheem Alwahishi, Daniel Villagomez, Mario Gil, Andro Molina and Johnny Ramos.

Wildcat coach Jonathan Jacobs said he likes the way his team is playing at the end of the season. He said, “We peaked at the right time here at the end of the season. We looked comfortable at times and then we kind of relaxed and allowed them to get back in the game. They scored on 4 mistakes that we have to clean up.

Scoring for the Wildcats were Uriel Cruz, Christian Vega had a goal and an assist, Jair Sanchez had 2 goals and an assist, Oscar Pacheo had a goal, Jose Herrera had a goal and Abraheem Alwahishi had an assist.

Playoffs will start November 4.
