Union head coach, Bryant Register was extremely proud of his team’s performance tonight. “Overall this was a big team win for us. I’m very proud of the girls and its probably the best we’ve played in quite sometime. They were very unselfish tonight and moved the ball well. Defensively, we forced a lot of turnovers, they were able to get out in transition and get some layups.
“I’m just so proud of the girls and the way they brought good effort, intensity, and the love of the game tonight,” he continued. “They were out there having fun and the game just came to them. However, we understand we’ve got to come back tomorrow and focus at practice and get ready for Friday,” he said.
The Lady Spartans will travel into Bulldog territory Friday when they meet Wallace-Rose Hill.
