The Hobbton Middle Wildcats picked up another win Thursday taking the Midway Middle Raiders 10-6.

Wildcat coach Chuck Lively was pleased with the victorty.

“You know Midway is going to hit the ball so you have to hit it better and score more,” he said. “We hit well the first inning going up 7-0 before letting Midway get back in the game. It was 7-6 when we scored 3 more in the 6th.”

All 9 players from Hobbton got a hit with 8 of them scoring. For the Wildcats, Jacob Lee was 2-3 with 1 run scored, Dannie Britt was 2-3 with 2 runs scored, Richard Warren was 2-3 with 2 runs scored, Jordan Pearsall was 1-1 with 2 base-on-balls and hit by a pitch. He scored 1 run, also.

Grayson Rogers was the lead off pitcher with Pearsall finishing the game. The Wildcats will be at Roseboro-Salemburg Middle on Monday. They are now 2-1 on the season.
