Hobbton Middle blasts Roseboro-Salemburg

Martin Holloman steals second base in the Hobbton Middle 18-0 win over RSMS.


Hobbton Middle’s baseball team totally dominated the visiting Leopards of Roseboro-Salemburg Middle Monday afternoon in a shortened game. The final was 18-0, Hobbton.

Hobbton coach Chuck Lively said, “We put the ball in play most of the day and when you put it in play, sometimes they will make mistakes. That’s what happened today. We want to keep rolling.”

Hitting for the Wildcats were: Grayson Rogers, 2 for 3; Jacob Lee was 3 for 3; Jordan Pearsall was 3 for 3; Brayden Herring was 3 for 3 with a triple; Martin Holloman was 1 for 1; Padro Esquivel was 1 for 2; Daniel Britt was 2 for 2; and Preston Daughtry was 2 for 2.

The Wildcat host Union Middle Thursday. Game time is 4 p.m.
