The Annual Women of Rhema Conference will be held Aug. 15-18. The theme this year is “I Am Who God Says I Am.”
What an incredible journey this has been! When elder Idella M. Fullwood began as first lady of Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church Ministries, she had a vision of what a Women’s Conference could be, but she had no idea what it would eventually become. This conference has expanded and has grown into a beautiful forum and fellowship for women for over ten years. I have witnessed so many women gather together at this amazing event; an event that has been life saving and life changing.
As women, we are faced with many battles and uncertainties in life. We go through so much; however, our God is able and His Word is true. Each of us have different life experiences, don’t we? You may not have come from an encouraging home; you may have come from a broken home, or a broken marriage; or maybe you are going through an issue right now because of some devastating problem or concern. Let me inform you that through the magnificent power of Jesus Christ, you can sense that you are “fearfully and wonderfully made” by God for a unique and special purpose. Every woman was designed in their mother’s womb by the hands of God; shaped by the Lord Himself, He has declared, “You were made for such a time as this!” No matter what the situation or circumstance, we can overcome any obstacle. You may ask, what can I do to overcome and have victory in this walk of faith? Well, I’m glad you asked. We need to digest the Word and promises of God. We as womenexperience transitions and reinventions in our lives, it is time for us to start a whole new chapter. As we move forward, let us do it as wiser woman. This conference has been designed to help empower women who struggle to balance responsibilities of being the good wife, work and children. This kind of fellowship will also allow us to become more compassionate and more connected to one another. We are coming together to shake off all feelings of dread and despair. We are gathering to get back into fellowship with the Master and put on the garment of praise, because ladies, you are a person of divine destiny. You are a person of purpose and worth, uniquely fashioned, a true work of art - a Master piece. You are specifically equipped and set apart having been “Fearfully and Wonderfully Made!”
The women of this community are invited to the Women of Rhema Conference 2012. It is promised to be a glorious experience that will strengthen and enable you to stand against the wiles and traps of the enemy. We will have unquestionable, anointed speakers that will be supporting us during this great Cconference. Zion Church Ministries, Goldsboro; Friday Aug. 17, pastor Brenda Pratt, Global Worship Center Nassau, Bahamas.
