CLINTON — Mrs. Lois Cheshire Greene, 85, of 180 Southwood Drive, formerly of Parkersburg, died Monday, Sept. 24, 2012 at Sampson Regional Medical Center.

The funeral will be at 4:30 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 26, at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro with the Rev. E.C. Mattocks officiating. Burial will follow in the Parkersburg Cemetery in Roseboro.

Mrs. Greene was born on Dec. 24, 1926 in Bladen County. She was preceded in death by her husband, Terrell R. Greene, her parents and several brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her daughter, Camille Wilson and husband, Tony of Clinton; three grandchildren, Austin Wilson, Heather Wilson, and April Smith and husband, Edward Smith II; one great grandchild, Lexie Smith; one brother, Carl Cheshire and wife, Elizabeth of Asheboro; and one sister, Inez Russ of Kansas.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 3 to 4:30 p.m prior to the funeral.
