Something new has been added to the Clinton retail community: a donut shop.
Steve Conoway recently opened Sunset Donuts and Diner at 1218 Sunset Ave., and that aroma you smell when you walk in comes from an array of fresh-baked donuts, muffins and brownies. Conoway also offers a variety of exotic coffees, made from beans that come from Europe, Africa, South America and the Middle East, he says.
In addition to pastries, Sunset Donuts and Diner provides a breakfast selection all day and a light lunch and dinner menu at the appropriate hours. There is also an ice cream bar with a variety of flavors. For those watching their waistlines, Conoway offers fat-free donuts and muffins and sugar-free ice cream.
Sunset Donuts and Diner is open from 5:30 a.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
