CLINTON — Mr. Stacy J. Boykin, 79, of 628 Kenneth Carter Road, died on Friday, Oct. 12, 2012 in his home.
The funeral will be held at 1 p.m., on Friday, Oct. 19, at the Big Piney Grove Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Roosevelt Johnson and the Rev. James Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow in the Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Mr. Boykin is survived by his wife, Elizabeth B. Boykin, of the home; daughters, Alease Lee, Atlanta, Ga. and Brenda Smith, Fayetteville; son, David Boykin, Oxford, Md.; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Thursday, Oct. 18, from 1-7 p.m., with the family being present from 6-7 p.m. at Summerville-Boykin Mortuary, Garland.
