New Century bank promotes Thompson, Davis, Lyles

DUNN — New Century Bank has promoted three employees to assistant vice president and branch manager according to Kevin S. Bunn, executive vice president and chief banking officer. In their new roles, Joanne E. Davis serves customers from New Century’s Ramsey Street branch in Fayetteville; Ann P. Lyles serves customers from the Lillington branch; and, Tiffany L. Thompson serves customers from the Clinton branch.

“We are fortunate to have Joanne, Ann, and Tiffany as leaders within the bank,” shared Bunn. “These promotions are a result of the hard work, passion and dedication they display every day.”

As branch managers, Davis, Lyles, and Thompson are responsible for oversight of daily branch operations, including staffing, planning, and sales, as well as serving the lending and deposit needs of individuals and business customers.

Joanne E. Davis joined New Century Bank in 2006 and has over 13 years experience in the financial services industry. A graduate of Broome Community College in Binghamton, NY, she earned an associate’s degree in business marketing and a consumer lending diploma from the American Institute of Banking. She lives in Fayetteville with her husband, John, and is an active member of the Cumberland County Chamber of Commerce.

Ann P. Lyles also joined New Century Bank in 2006 following a 28-year career at BB&T. She earned an accounting degree from Hardbarger Business College in Raleigh, and currently serves as an ambassador for the Lillington Chamber of Commerce. A Harnett County native, she and her husband, Charlie, live in Lillington and attend Pleasant Union Christian Church.

Tiffany L. Thompson is a veteran New Century employee, having joined the bank in 2002 as a teller and serving since that time in roles of increasing responsibility. She gives back to the community by volunteering for the Sampson Civitan Club, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, and the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life. She also serves as an ambassador for the Sampson County Chamber of Commerce. A native of Sampson County, she and her husband, Brad, live in Clinton.
