Cooking from homemade/scratch metho
The Foods I classes at Clinton High School have been learning the art of cooking from scratch. Students were able to demonstrate skills they learned in the kitchen by preparing a lab on Nestle Toll House chocolate chip cookies. The work plan was very successful with the end resulting with a smile on students' faces as they sampled their products. Students have been able to evaluate convenience products verses homemade cooking items and hands down the winner was homemade from scratch. Tracy Hatcher, instructor, said she was very proud of the progress her students are making toward becoming young chef's. (Courtesy photo)
