CLINTON — Mrs. Georgie Lacial Bradshaw Weaver, 86, of 120 Southwood Drive, died in Mary Gran Nursing Center Sunday, Oct. 21, 2012.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 24, at Royal-Hall Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bill Cotton officiating. Burial will follow at the Faison Cemetery.

Born in 1926 in Sampson County, Mrs. Weaver was the daughter of the late, Raymond and Cora Sutton Bradshaw. She was a member of Miller’s Chapel Free Will Baptist Church and a homemaker. She was widow of Joseph Earl Weaver.

She is survived by three sisters, Nelda Phipps of Warsaw, Ruth Lipscomb of Clinton and Shelbe Sasser of Faison; two brothers, Arie Bradshaw of Faison and Shelton Bradshaw of Sophia; a foster son, David Best of Mt. Olive; two foster daughters, Tracy Best of Faison and Cristal Grice of Pikeville; and multiple nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Ludie King and Marie Slocumb; four brothers, James R. Bradshaw, Rodolph Bradshaw, Gilbert Bradshaw and O.J. Bradshaw.

The family will receive friends Tuesday night at Royal-Hall Funeral Home from 7 until 9 p.m. and other times at the home of her sister, Shelbe Sasser, at 676 Bill Waters Road, Faison.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Miller’s Chapel Free Will Baptist Church, 10441 Faison Hwy, Faison, NC 28341.
