After back-to-back losses, the Hobbton Middle soccer team got back on track with a 7-0 win over visiting Midway.

“We have been playing good soccer. We have not been able to find the back of the net,” said Hobbton coach Damon Burnett.

Two minutes later, Christian Vega scored off of a pass from Edgar Lopez. Vega returned the favor four minutes later, assisting on Lopez’s goal to make the score 3-0.

Twelve minutes into the second half, Cesar Castillo dribblee 40 yards to score unassisted to increase the Wildcat lead to 4-0. Edgar Lopez got his second assist when he would pass to Johnathan Mejia who scored from 25 yards.

Six minutes later, Irvin Castillo sent a long pass to Jair Sanchez who found the back of the net with his right foot to make it 6-0. Gustavo Ventura finished out the shutout, scoring off his left foot, off of a pass from Andres Escalera.
