SALEMBURG — Mrs. Sadie Daniels Stocks, 79, of 1099 Payton Daniels Road, died Thursday, Nov. 1, 2012, at Mary Gran Nursing Center.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 4, at Mt. Elam Baptist Church in Roseboro with the Rev. Randy Moore officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Stocks, born in Sampson County, was the daughter of the late Ivey Franklin Daniels and Gladys Jane Lockamy Daniels and was the widow of Lenwood Stocks. She worked at Sampson Sewing Factory for 25 years and was a caretaker. She was a member of Mt. Elam Baptist Church.

She is survived by a daughter, Sabra Lynn Stocks Williams and husband, Danny of Daytona Beach, Fla.; a granddaughter, Angela Williams Goodrich and husband, Alton of Salemburg; a grandson, Haslin Scott Williams and wife, Angela Barnes Williams of Salemburg; two great-grandchildren, Allen Goodrich and Sadie Elizabeth Williams; two sisters, Faye Daniels Williams and Joyce Daniels Harris, both of Salemburg; a brother, Sheral Daniels of Salemburg.

The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 3, at Mt. Elam Baptist Church, 2211 Mount Elam Church Road, Roseboro, and other times at the home of her granddaughter, Angela Goodrich, 8739 High House Road, Salemburg.
