A drug investigation not linked to the recent “Operation Scarecrow” has put a 52-year-old northern Sampson County man behind bars.
Bobby Michael Holloman, 52, of 970 Ira B. Tart Road, located just north of Spivey’s Corner, was arrested and charged with maintaining a vehicle/dwelling/place for a controlled substance; manufacturing marijuana; and possession of drug paraphernalia after his arrest earlier in the week.
According to reports released Friday, Nov. 1, from the Sampson County Sheriff’s Office, Holloman was the suspect in a drug investigation conducted by the Special Investigations Division (SID) in early October.
A search of Hollowman’s home turned up multiple containers filled with marijuana and drug paraphernalia, reports show.
In all, a total of 80 grams of marijuana was seized at the time of Holloman’s arrest.
Holloman received a $4,900 unsecured bond and was released. He made his first court appearance the following day. Holloman’s next court date will be Nov. 9.
According to the North Carolina Department of Corrections, he has no previous convictions.
