HARRELLS — Ms. Judy E. Barnes, 56, of 2053 Firetower Road passed away Wednesday. Oct. 31, 2012 at her home.
The funeral at held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 4 at Mt. Elam Baptist Church, Hwy. 210 Garland, with the Rev. Handy Gunter officiating. Burial followed at the Community Cemetery on Hill Circle Road in Garland.
Judy was born Nov. 5,1955 in Dutches County, N.Y. to the late Roger J. O‘Dell Sr. She was a CNA and enjoyed reading, yard sales, bingo and helping the needy. She was a member of Mt. Elam Baptist Church in Garland. She was proceeded in death by her brother, Ricky O’Dell.
Judy leave to cherish her memory mother, Dorothy Helen O’Dell of Clinton; fiance’ Willie Boykin of the home; daughters, Tiffany Barnes of Hope Mills, Freeda Highsmith of White Lake; son, Joshua Newton of Harrells; brothers, Roger J. O’Dell Jr. of New York, Stephen O’Dell, Randy O’Dell and Timmy O’Dell, all of Harrells; sisters, Sandra Herring of Harrells, Darlene O’Dell of New York, Lisa O’Dell of Harrells and Maureen O’Dell of Kenansville; and six grandchildren.
A public walk through was held Saturday, Nov. 3, from 1 - 4 p.m. at Hope Valley Funeral Service, 1275 Hobbton Hwy. and other times at the home, 2053 Firetower Road Harrells.
The Barnes and O’Dell family have entrusted Hope Valley Funeral Service & Cremation of Clinton.
